About Us

A leading manufacturer of premium BBQ charcoal briquettes

Indobara BBQ

Ten years of fire, from Indonesia to the world

Since its founding, Indobara BBQ has become a leading manufacturer of premium BBQ charcoal briquettes in Indonesia, supplying importers, distributors, restaurants and retail brands.

Our main factory is located in West Java, Indonesia. The company has a long history of charcoal production and export, with more than 10 years of experience.

Our briquettes are made from hardwood sawdust — a by-product of the timber industry — pressed into a dense hexagon and slowly carbonised, for a clean, long-lasting fire.

Production

The making of BBQ charcoal briquette

  1. Natural from the start

The sawdust charcoal is made entirely naturally. No chemicals or additives are added during the making process.

  2. Pressed, not glued

The sawdust bonds inside a state-of-the-art briquetting machine, compressed through a mould under high pressure and temperature.

  3. Hexagonal, with a centre hole

At the end of extrusion, a hexagonal sawdust briquette with a hole in the centre is produced. The hole improves airflow and ignition.

  4. Slow carbonisation

The briquette is placed in a kiln where carbonisation takes place slowly at a well-controlled temperature. After a few days, a fully natural charcoal briquette is ready.

  5. Packed for export

Finished briquettes are packed in 10 kg master cartons and palletised for loading. Other packaging options are available from our sales team.
